BCT-LLC is seeking a talented User Experience (UX) Generalist to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This role is customer-facing and requires an active TS/SCI with Poly. As a User Experience Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on our High Performance Computing (HPC) Project. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and analyzing user needs and addressing those needs through thoughtful user experience design. You will collaborate with customers to design and mock-up dashboards for next-generation HPC capabilities. Your main focus will be designing solutions that enhance end-users' daily workflow and improve operational efficiency. You will also work closely with product managers and development teams to implement proposed design solutions. What you will do includes interviewing users to understand their role in the system, what they need to be able to accomplish, and what challenges might prevent them from doing so; applying interview insights to define user workflows within the system and design thoughtful interactions for users to step through those workflows; creating low-fidelity and mid-fidelity mockups to storyboard the user's experience and define the interaction process; iterating on the decision through user testing; answering questions for the development team as they arise; reworking the design as necessary due to technological constraints; working with the UI designer to ensure the UX is accomplished through the design of the UI; and designing the information architecture of each page as required.
