About The Position

We’re seeking a UX Designer for Zoom Apps and Marketplace, shape how millions of users discover, install, and interact with apps that enhance Zoom platform. You’ll independently own key product areas, leading the end-to-end design process while collaborating with designers across the US and China to create innovative, scalable solutions. This role is ideal for a bold, systems-minded designer passionate about crafting visually refined, intuitive experiences for SMB and enterprise users. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll set the standard for design quality and deliver elegant, user-centered solutions at scale. You'll work with the Zoom Apps and Marketplace team, focused on creating customizable apps and scalable integrations that help customers grow their businesses. Requirements

• Hold BS or equivalent experience with 4+ years of product design experience with a deep portfolio showcasing exceptional user-centered interaction design.
• Have experience managing complex projects with cross-functional and cross-team stakeholders across different time zones.
• Have exposure to AI-powered design tools (Prompting, Vibe Coding, Cursor, FigmaMake) for design and prototyping.
• Have systems thinking ability with experience contributing to design systems libraries.
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate positions, influence partners, and explore thinking with innovative design approaches.
• Have deep understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking practices, deep visual design skills with passion for polish and an expert eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Designing at Scale – Lead high-impact, mission-critical projects that define the future of Zoom Marketplace and Developer Platform. Own design strategy and execution end-to-end with a deep emphasis on refined, production-ready visuals.
• Collaborating – Partner with cross-functional teams (PM, engineering, research, accessibility) to align on product direction, deliver impactful work, and champion design excellence across all surfaces.
• Driving high-quality design while collaborating closely with design leadership to bring clarity and consistency across projects, ensuring design decisions align with the broader vision.
• Raising the Visual Bar – Set and uphold high standards for visual and interaction design quality, demonstrate a love for polished UI and deep instincts for layout, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions.
• Leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to guide design decisions, evaluate success, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Crafting in Figma – Own design execution in Figma, delivering pixel-perfect visuals, robust prototypes, and clear specifications for engineering partners.
