Position Overview Exact Science’s Customer Experience (CX) team is responsible for defining, driving, and delivering innovative, immersive, memorable customer-centric journeys for all our customers, across all channels (digital and physical). These journeys are grouped by Customer and User Types (e.g., Patient, Provider, Lab Users) and further categorized into a set of Experiences (e.g., Understand Risks & Complete Screening, Confirm Diagnosis). Each Experience has a set of specific, measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that the overall team is accountable to fulfill. As an experience design intern, you will be expected to help support the creation of experiences that will bring the UX strategy and vision for products that we are building to life. You must account for multiple inputs and journeys across all touchpoints with a given customer, both digital and physical. You will help gather requirements and take ambiguity and create structure and organization. You will help bring the vision to life, creating different outputs and deliverables to help ensure we deliver a cohesive and inspiring experience to drive value and meet customer needs. Collaborating with diverse teams, including Designers, Copywriters, Content Strategists, Product partners, Marketing, Business Unit, Internal users and Development partners, you’ll support efforts in digital, marketing, and product design, emphasizing interaction design and visual design. You excel in balancing the macro and micro aspects of design—creating and building to help support the overall vision of an experience. Your approach involves continuous analysis, iteration, solutioning, and delivery, maintaining a focus on the user at the center of everything you create. Your role involves navigating complex business, functional, and user challenges to drive the development of innovative experiences aligned with overall business and user objectives. Your expertise extends to delivering intricate design work, while providing easily understood, scalable solutions that inspire. You should be able to share examples of work that highlights your approach to design.This should demonstrate how you experiences and features to life across various touchpoints. Additionally, you should be able to provide instances where your work effectively communicated complex ideas and terminology through simple, engaging designs. This position is remote/onsite at Madison Endeavor campus.
