About The Position

Our network is made up of associates - who typically work with us as independent contractors or freelancers. Our associates are all at an expert level (10+ years of experience) who thrive on tackling channeling problems and enjoy having autonomy to do their best work.
We’re looking to grow our network of senior UX Consultants—people who excel at designing meaningful, useful experiences for real users. This role is for practitioners who enjoy direct customer collaboration, make smart design decisions quickly, and understand that great UX is measured by outcomes, not frameworks. If your work is driven more by curiosity, creativity and collaboration than heavyweight research rituals, you’ll feel at home here.

Requirements

• Senior-level UX experience delivering real products or services
• A creative, practical approach to UX — you know when research adds value, and when it doesn’t
• Comfort speaking directly with customers and users
• Strong design judgement and the ability to explain why something works
• A bias towards action: testing ideas quickly and iterating based on feedback

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers and users to understand problems first-hand
• Turn messy, real-world needs into clear, usable designs
• Create sketches, flows, wireframes or prototypes to explore and communicate ideas
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to shape solutions that can actually be built
• Make pragmatic trade-offs between ideal UX and delivery realities
• Champion the user in conversations with clients and stakeholders — clearly and confidently
