The UX Architect role brings expertise in Salesforce design and development, responsive CSS and HTML design, and experience working with responsive single-page application frameworks. You will lead the design and development of user-centered digital experiences that drive engagement, satisfaction, and business success. As a UX Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall user experience strategy and ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and aesthetic appeal. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, research methodologies, and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and seamless user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing intuitive user interfaces and crafting exceptional user experiences that align with business goals and technical requirements. This role requires hands-on experience in developing scalable and responsive designs, mentoring a development team, and establishing and sharing code quality standards to ensure consistency and excellence across the team. The UX Architect will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions that address user needs while aligning with business objectives. You will be responsible for conducting user research, analyzing data, and creating detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps to visualize design concepts. Additionally, you will advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in design, ensuring that all users can interact with our products effectively. This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance creativity with technical expertise, and who is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design for diverse audiences and platforms, as well as a proven track record of driving UX improvements that result in measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) with 8+ years experience supporting User Interface development and architecture.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or Axure RP.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce UX concepts including LWC, re-usable components, re-usable Apex backend components, and other Salesforce concepts.
  • Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first principles.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms.
  • Requires a separate, quiet, private, confidential space to work from as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home or apartment (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home. Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or higher latency ISP is not acceptable.
  • Must be an U.S. citizen, speak fluent English, and able to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in UX design or related fields (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group, UX Design Institute).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like to track user behavior.
  • Experience with usability testing, user research, and data-driven design.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

  • Experience in or supporting a Contact Center, Military/Veteran services, or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement UX strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps to visualize design concepts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into actionable design solutions.
  • Collaborate with the development team to provide implementation and style guidance to ensure functionality is consistent in experience and maintainability to meet requirements.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve UX processes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and UX professionals.
