About The Position

This is the opportunity to join a dynamic and highly motivated team that collaborate daily with the major Electronics brands in Americas developing innovative products integrating UWB technology. In that role, you will be able to develop a unique set of competences in the HW and system architectures relying on the UWB technologies. At term, you will own a complete and rare understanding of UWB solutions and act as a trusted referent in the Americas region for internal stakeholders and local customers. In such a pivot role, you will connect customer needs to product features and have an impact on Product Roadmaps and Value Proposition that you will be able to articulate at customers to discuss or build innovative requirements with them and make an impact on NXP business. Required skills and credentials: Master’s degree in electrical engineering with a major and/or concentration in Radio Frequencies (RF) and a minimum of 4 years of relative experience Wireless Communications, antennas and microwaves courses completed Experience and knowledge of crucial antenna concepts, such as impedance matching, antenna isolation, interference, gain, polarization, radiation pattern, link-budget analysis, frequency spectrum Hands-on experience with Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF simulation and debugging tools Schematic design and layout for RF sections Because you will evolve in a high-pace and dynamic environment, you will be expected to demonstrate the following behaviors: Structured and analytical working method and ability to solve complex problems Excellent communication with strong interpersonal skills with internal and external parties Fast Learner with Excellent Team spirit and ability to progress in autonomy Sense of urgency and appropriate escalation of issues Willingness to travel frequently (up to 25%), including on short notice Differentiating skills: Experience with UWB or Radar Exposure to any technology - UWB, 802.15.xx based proprietary protocols is desirable Experience in antenna design, simulation, optimization, prototyping, tuning, and measurement Familiarity with PCB antenna manufacturing processes and materials Knowledge of regulatory testing 4 years of experience ideally with a track record of customer facing

Requirements

  • Deliver premium HW and RF technical support in content and time to assigned customers
  • Manage projects on both detailed technical and high-level abstraction levels
  • Master the fundamental mechanics of the sales call
  • Feel challenged by initiating and driving innovations.
  • Leads proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations to secure NXP out solutions the competition and secures the win
  • Synthesizes customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmaps
  • Fully understands how ecosystem solutions can position NXP in the best possible manner
  • Qualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and establishes NXP's value proposition/position relative to the competition
  • Qualifies the value of NXP's products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing NXP
  • Owns the block diagram process to ensure broader technical team understands the full system requirements
  • Delivers ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of NXP solutions within their practice areas
  • Successfully builds relationships with sales team members, business lines, R&D, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives
  • Assists in educating Field Sales Engineers on new technologies, new product features and their related business value
