About The Position
The University of Texas at Austin (UT) invites applications for the Program Director of UTNY, UT's semester- and summer-long 'study-away' program in midtown Manhattan. This senior administrative role-a fulltime, in-person position-may also have an opportunity to teach based on experience. The position will report to the Executive Director of UTNY. The director should have demonstrated leadership and management experience, experience living and/or working in New York City, and understanding of teaching and program development in higher education. The position may include a teaching load of one course per semester, including summer, totaling three courses per year. The UTNY Program is an experiential learning program that gives UT Austin students from all majors an opportunity to spend a semester or summer in NYC, learning about the culture and industries that make NYC one of the most exciting places to launch a career. Students in the UTNY academic programs participate in credit-earning internships and/or take classes in the UTNY facility classrooms.
