About The Position

InGenesis is currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to work with our client. In this role, you will provide safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Ensure high standards of patient care, precision treatment, and compliance with institutional protocols.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy program.
Certified in Radiation Therapy Technology (ARRT).
Licensed by Texas Medical Board in Medical Radiologic Technology.
BLS certification (American Heart Association).
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and safety.
Strong technical expertise in radiation oncology.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

Certification in Computed Tomography.
1+ year of experience, preferably with Varian equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate treatment machines and CT simulator to deliver prescribed radiation doses.
Generate and maintain accurate electronic treatment charts and documentation.
Follow radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self.
Prepare and educate patients for therapy; monitor safety and comfort during sessions.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Monitor clinical responses and refer for intervention when necessary.
Assist in training and supervising radiation therapy students.
Participate in equipment quality assurance and calibration.
Maintain compliance with departmental and institutional standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
