About The Position
The Utilization Review Manager at Ascend Behavioral Health and Wellness is responsible for coordinating utilization functions and personnel to ensure compliance with hospital procedures and federal regulations. This role acts as an internal resource for patient care inquiries, ensuring that staff provide appropriate care. The manager will assess clients to determine the appropriate Level of Care and obtain authorization for a caseload of patients, while also organizing and coordinating Utilization Review activities in accordance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and payor guidelines.
