Utilization Review Coordinator
About The Position
As the Utilization Review Coordinator at Devereux Florida, you will work with other dedicated professionals internally and externally who share your passion for helping others, and ensuing a fluid collaborative Admissions and Utilization Review process for the children's psychiatric residential treatment programs throughout the state of Florida. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining admission utilization review on each client’s appropriateness for admission and treatment. Facilitates and monitors discharges and needed aftercare services for each individual served. Must maintain current knowledge on the multitude of funding sources and ensure compliance with mandated requirements and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the field of behavior analysis, mental health, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or a human services field required
- 1+ year working targeted case management, medical billing/record keeping, utilization management, discharge management, or related clinical service experience. required
- Strong MS Office Suite experience. required
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test.
- Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.
Responsibilities

- Maintaining current knowledge on the multitude of funding sources and ensure compliance with mandated requirements and standards.
