About The Position

The Utilization Review Coordinator at Prime Healthcare is responsible for assisting in the implementation and management of the utilization review program for the employee medical benefit program. This role focuses on providing quality, cost-effective care by utilizing available resources and ensuring optimal outcomes for members. The coordinator will collaborate closely with the Prime Healthcare Provider Network and hospital Medical Directors.

Requirements

• High School graduate
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and various software programs
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and professional work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and ongoing management of the utilization review program for the employee medical benefit program.
• Provide direction and utilization of available resources to ensure quality, cost-effective care.
• Work closely with the Prime Healthcare Provider Network and hospital Medical Directors.
