About The Position

Assists in a variety of material handling and support services to various departments within the plant. Job requires individual to be capable of moderate to heavy handling of Finished Goods, Work-In-Process, and Raw Material.

Requirements

• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping
• Frequent walking throughout warehouse and plant area
• Tolerance to industrial strength cleaners
• Heavy lifting and carrying up to 75#
• Ability to speak clearly and distinctly, bilingual a plus
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to work independently and make work-related decisions
• Ability to exercise good judgment in prioritizing tasks
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Puts away inventory assigned to stock location.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Puts away W.I.P. and Raw Material as needed.
• Moves material during the course of production.
• Assists in parts washing.
• Maintains clean work area on a daily basis.
• Empties trash and cardboard
• Maintains box supply
• Maintains toiletries
• Implements safety and good housekeeping practices
• Occasional groundskeeping
• Other duties as assigned
