Utility We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Utility Worker to join our team at our SCC Beatrice location. The Utility position is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a utility or maintenance role is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices
Continuous walking and other means of mobility up to 8 hours a day
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull and frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

Washes dishes or pans by hand or dish machine.
Washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and equipment
Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
May unload grocery deliveries or transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Cleans equipment and facilities using specific chemicals ensuring safety & sanitary standards.
Complies with all HACCP and safety policies and procedures.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
