About The Position

Assists in the production of aluminum extrusions by performing the following duties:

1. Off-Loading Metal at Finishing Saw a. Assists and follows instructions of Operator ‘B’ b. Performs any task assigned by Supervisor c. Follows safe work procedures

Requirements

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract numerically.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must pass oral, written, physical forklift operator training to obtain license.
