About the position

The Utility Worker position at Servicon involves understanding and practicing all client and Servicon Safety programs, promoting safety as a culture among team members, and wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing work. The role requires proficiency in various utility tasks in accordance with Servicon's policies, procedures, and processes. Responsibilities include performing assigned work to Servicon's quality standards and in accordance with the client's Statement of Work. The Utility Worker may assist in onboarding new associates on topics such as safety, company policies and procedures, proper cleaning procedures, and equipment maintenance. Additionally, the worker is responsible for inspecting the assigned work area during and after work completion to ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and customer scope of work, schedules, and special requests. The role also involves ensuring that supplies are neatly stored, equipment and tools are maintained in good working order, repairs are reported timely, and equipment is cleaned thoroughly at the end of each shift. Other duties may be assigned to meet the highest standards of quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in onboarding new associates on safety, company policies, and proper cleaning procedures.
  • Inspect assigned work area during and after work completion to verify compliance with procedures and customer scope of work.
  • Ensure supplies are neatly stored and equipment/tools are maintained in good working order.
  • Report equipment repairs in a timely manner and clean equipment thoroughly at the end of each shift.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet quality, service, and cost-effectiveness standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience as a Custodian or Utility Worker.
  • Ability to drive a Company vehicle.
  • Must have an unexpired, valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate a clean driving record.
