About The Position

Under direction of the section supervisor and/or an individual of a higher classification, performs custodial work, facility and grounds maintenance. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a basic understanding of the janitorial trade and the special products utilized in the trade.
• Must be familiar with facility and grounds maintenance.
• Must be familiar with forklift operation and safety.
• Must have basic OSHA/EPA awareness; and must be familiar with current safety equipment and procedures.
• Must be capable of understanding written as well as verbal work orders.
• Must be high school graduate.
• Must have excellent work performance and attendance records.
• Must pass Company‑administered written and oral examinations.
• Must be able to meet standard physical requirements of position and pass Company‑sponsored physical examination and drug screening.
• Must be willing and able to work various shifts, overtime as directed, holiday duty as required, and assume days‑off as assigned.
• Must have valid Hawaii State driver's license with clean traffic abstract.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Two (2) years' experience in the janitorial and/or facility maintenance field preferred.
