About The Position

Utility Worker Transdev in Woodland, Ca is hiring a Utility Worker. The Utility Worker is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: Utility Worker represented by ATU Local 256: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: $21.51 per hour Starting pays $21.51 with progression based on CBA negotiation over a 3-year period. Benefits include: Vacation: Accrues at a rate of 5 days per year, increasing up to a maximum of 30 days per year based on years of service and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Paid Sick Leave: 4.00 hrs monthly full-time employees; medical, dental & vision after 30 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays. Benefits may vary depending on location policy. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
  • DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
  • Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles
  • Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids
  • Downloading drive cameras & probes fare boxes
  • Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Other duties as required.
