About The Position

As a Utility Worker at EMR, you’ll play a key role our daily yard operations at our Bismarck, ND site. In this role, support general yard upkeep and assist with a variety of operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to operate equipment safely
• Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds
• Customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Support daily yard operations by moving, sorting and handling scrap metal and materials.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers and containers
• Prepare items for shipment
• Assist with basic material processing, including dismantling small components and collecting loose material
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized yard
• Other duties as assigned
