Company: Cobb This position is responsible for maintaining product flow and relieving team members on line for breaks and filling in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Schedule: Starting at Two Days a Week. 10 to 12 hour shifts. Tuesdays & Fridays, including holidays. Hours: 4:00 am - 4:00 pm This is a Part-Time position with a maximum of 30 hours per week. Schedule changes will be posted on Thursdays. Position Summary: This position is responsible for floating to all departments within the Hatchery on an as-needed basis. Most job responsibilities will be in Egg Room/Egg Pack/Sanitation.

Requirements

• The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility.
• Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company.
• No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing.
• Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).
• Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs. and must be able to push/pull 1000-1500 lbs. (on wheels).
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand the majority of the shift (concrete floor); walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend over; talk or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces, and in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments.
• Safety glasses, Safety goggles, a face shield, chemical gloves, a waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required when handling chemicals.
• Earplugs will be used as needed.
• Team Member is expected to follow all applicable safety policies and procedures. These include, but are not limited to, Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Lock Out Tag Out, and Personal Protective Equipment.
• Team Member is expected to identify, address, and mitigate safety-related risks.

Responsibilities

• Fill in departments as needed based on production needs. Duties may change or be assigned at any time, with or without notice, daily.
• Hand transfers, assist with setting eggs, assist with Egg Pack, Egg inventory and dump eggs
• Assist sanitation with cleaning of setters, inspecting buggies for cleanliness, assist with cleaning halls
