Utility team members work together to make sure that the kitchen is detailed and organized. This is a great entry level job where you can grow and become a part of a team that feels like family. Earn a competitive hourly rate based on years of experience. Flexible shifts available, 7 days a week between 7am and 9pm. Position Summary: The Utility Worker, in accordance with policies and procedures that are established, performs a number of kitchen activities including washing and sanitizing of pots, dishes, and carts; operating dish washing machines; general cleaning duties while maintaining kitchen sanitation; stocking and storing food/nonfood supplies; receiving storing, and delivering supplies and food trays within the facility; and preparing food when necessary. This position reports to the Utility Supervisor.
Requirements
- Up to one-month of related experience or training.
- Organization and time-management skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to work and be punctual.
- Positive attitude and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Washes all dishes using dish machine and properly stores them.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment by cleaning dishes and taking out the trash.
- Maintains clean and dry floors throughout the shift.
- Adheres to sanitation and safety procedures.
- Performs additional cleaning duties as requested.
