About The Position

Transdev in Baltimore, MD (Charm City Circulator) is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee. The Utility Worker/Service Employee is required to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:
$21.50 - $22.50 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay scale)
Starting pay $21.50 with progression to $22.50 over 2 years.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles - interior and exterior
• Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles when needed
• Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids when needed
• Assist with routine building maintenance tasks such as painting, minor plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical repairs.
• Clean and maintain facilities, including restrooms, offices, mechanical rooms, and outdoor areas.
• Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, trimming, snow removal, and general landscaping.
• Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Other duties as required.
