About The Position

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Night Shift Feather Process Operator for our plant in Winesburg, OH. This entry-level manufacturing position offers a competitive wage of $22.72 per hour and comprehensive full-time benefits, including full medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, vacation time, and more. As a Process Operator, you will play a key role in the operation of our production plant, controlling the process of turning raw material into finished goods while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience is preferred.
• Mechanical abilities are a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Control the process of turning raw material into finished goods.
• Start up and shut down the production line.
• Maximize efficiency while the production line is running.
• Monitor control panels and various gauges on key equipment.
• Regularly sample and test for quality, making process adjustments as needed.
• Verify that equipment is properly locked out for repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties such as lubricating machinery.
• Assist in cleaning out air handling or other processing equipment as part of the weekly cleaning schedule.
