Performs manual tasks at a skilled level involved in the maintenance and construction of streets, sidewalks, ditches, parks, lawns, storm sewers, sewage plant, and using camera system to inspect drainage lines. Some positions will require the performance of other essential functions depending upon work location, assignment or shift. Some positions require working irregular hours, shifts, holidays, weekends, and call outs. Must have the ability to work independently and lead co-workers as a team. Excavates soil with hand tools, patches streets; repairs and cleans storm drains, and performs maintenance work. Adjusts pipe to insure proper grade. Assemble and disassemble barricades and shoring equipment. Must have and maintain, without interruption, all necessary licenses, certifications, clearances, and/or job requirements. Works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.
