About The Position

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A UTILITY WORKER As a Utility Worker / General Laborer, you provide critical help in keeping our operation running smoothly by helping to keep raw materials and finished products moving within the plant as well as keeping things clean and sanitary. You perform a variety of general labor tasks. Using a high-pressure hose, you wash welded product to prep for paint. Other tasks will include but will not be limited to pipe threading, spot welding and general maintenance. Always attentive to safety, you drive a fork lift to move equipment around the plant and property. As someone who likes to keep busy and active, you take pride in a job well done! MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR A UTILITY WORKER At least 18 years old. Authorized to work in the US. Valid driver's license. In addition, you need the following: Demonstrated ability to use standard hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and wrenches as well as power tools such as drills, impact drivers, and saws Ability to handle up to 50 lbs. Manufacturing, production, industrial, or agricultural experience is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
