The Utility Worker supports C&W Services by performing routine facility upkeep, event setup, and general maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment. This role requires a versatile, customer‑focused individual who can independently complete maintenance assignments, assist with meeting and event setups, and provide janitorial support when needed. Travel to the Windsor location may be required based on operational needs. The Utility Worker is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on facility tasks including basic repairs, light maintenance, and event support. Daily responsibilities include changing light bulbs, performing minor patch and repair work, adjusting fixtures, and supporting furniture repairs. The role will also assist with event setups by arranging tables, chairs, and room layouts according to customer‑provided diagrams, as well as handling breakdowns after events conclude. When maintenance and event activities are minimal, this position will perform janitorial duties to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility. The technician must be able to communicate effectively with customers, follow written instructions, read and interpret event layout diagrams, and complete basic tasks using a computer for work orders and documentation. Occasional travel to the Windsor building and availability for overtime are required.
