As a Utility worker at SSP America, you will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas. You will maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment, remove refuse to designated areas, and clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings as needed. Additionally, you will transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning, scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans, and wash them by hand or load the dishwasher and return them to their proper storage place. You will also clean equipment using specific chemicals to meet sanitary standards, which may include the use of heavy equipment. Assisting guests with specific requests and communicating special needs to servers or supervisors is also part of your role. You will load and unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas, stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items, and perform other duties as assigned.
