About The Position

At Wisconsin Oven, a Utility Technician is responsible for installing various utility systems, like water, gas, and electrical components, on our industrial ovens.

We do not expect an applicant to have all the necessary skills. We are committed to on-the-job training for the right individual! Growth potential within the role and the company.

Wisconsin Oven Corporation has been designing, engineering, and manufacturing industrial ovens and other heating equipment since 1973. Our custom and standard industrial ovens are used for a multitude of applications, including heat treating, finishing, drying, or curing.
Wisconsin Oven customers cover a wide range of industries, including aerospace/military, automotive, commercial heat treating, and energy/oil, to name a few.

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent required; three to five years of related experience preferred but not necessary
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Ability to read tape measures, basic math

Nice To Haves

• Blueprint reading skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly.
• Perform gas, water, and air assembly.
• Thread piping, bend conduit, and assemble, as needed.
