They are currently seeking an experienced Utility Technician to join their team. The Utility Technician performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies.

Requirements

Have at least a ninth grade education
Restaurant / senior living or equivalent food service experience

Nice To Haves

A minimum of three (3) months previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club setting preferred; will train

Responsibilities

Sets up the dish and pot washing area
Prepares for dishwashing and washes pots, dishes and utensils
Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils
Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
Empties trash containers as required
Completes all assigned cleaning tasks
Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work areas
Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies
Transports all clean and soiled linen to and from laundry
Food cart preparation (i.e. check food temps, document temps, reheat food, correct amount of food needed, etc.)
