We are currently seeking an experienced Prep Cook/Dishwasher to work in our fine dining space. If you’re looking for a different perspective on senior living and the food industry come join us today! The Utility technician/Dishwasher performs several kitchen activities including pot washing, dishwashing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic.
- A minimum of one year experience as a Prep Cook with Dishwasher responsibilities in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution.
- Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
- Food Handlers certification
- Basic understanding of English.
Responsibilities
- Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
- Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
