The Utility Senior Project Manager provides critical and necessary support to nearly all county roadway transportation and maintenance projects. It requires the ability to lead a team of utility coordination professionals, multitask, build and maintain professional-quality relationships, and work both independently and as part of a team. The Utility Senior Project Manager must manage, negotiate/obtain agreements, and ensure identification, relocation, and costs for the various utilities on each project. The Utility Senior Project Manager evaluates complex utility designs and ensures that projects are clear of utility infrastructure conflicts prior to construction. Some utility construction, contractor, and other permit review and processing are required, along with assigning, directing, and reviewing the work of others.
