About The Position
Performs all non-safety critical functions of school bus repair. Why Join First as a Utility Worker? Starting hourly rate: $21.50 Monday–Friday 8:00am-4:30pm day shift schedule with consistent, year-round work. Company-paid CDL Class B training and licensing. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a small set of hand tools, increasing as training progresses
- Ability to learn and perfect maintenance skills
- High School degree or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Perform servicing tasks cleaning of filters
- Replaces bulbs
- Lubricates equipment
- Removes wheels and tires
- Changes fluids in buses
- Any other maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Repairs floors , seat backs, and coverings
- Replace mirrors and some exterior panels
- Add and remove decals
