About The Position

The Utility - Sanitation position is located in our Golden Peanut Blakely, GA location. You will gain knowledge of the facility, general department knowledge, and handle tasks through completion of tasks and look for ways to improve the process and personal performance. Utility – Sanitation Operators are expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned including intense cleaning and sanitizing, and packaging products.

Requirements

The successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bend
May be required to lift 55 lbs. / 22 kg and needs to be able to work in a variety of hot, cold, or wet conditions
Shift work, overtime and weekends may be required
There is room for advancement in the future
Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
High School diploma or equivalent
You will need to get or have steel toe boots for this role.
ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience in fast paced production and/or similar military environment
Previous sanitation experience – a plus if in food related environment.

Responsibilities

This position initially involves general sanitation duties following developed GMPs for our food safety programs
Following GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Safety Rules is essential
Duties include but not limited to unloading raw material, loading finished product, light maintenance, and cleaning
