About The Position

The primary role of the Utility Sales Coordinator is to act as the conduit between Utility Sales/Distributors, BDM, and HUS TM and the other CGT business units for project coordination, Quotes, Customer Service, Bid Packages, and Submittals.A Day In The Life Ensure availability for STORM season and provide immediate feedback/response when storms occur. Develop and grow positive relationships by engaging closely daily with customers and internal sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction Develop expertise in the function of customer service, quotation / order process, project coordination and documentation. Provide daily support and problem solving for specific set of utility customers – one point of contact for all internal/external issues coming from customer and sales. Be liaison and problem solver between CS and operations, product management, tech services, etc to prevent multiple touchpoints for customers. Support Salesforce/Forecasting for Large Utility Customers & Opportunities. Provides Customer Service functions to Utility distributors including price & availability information, expedites Assist in managing project orders through the full cycle of a project ensuring all project commitments are met including delivery & documentation. Provides limited pricing support where required by Company policy. With assistance of Technical Services team, provides basic support to Utility accounts. Provides support documentation to customers regarding open orders, weekly shipments and past due orders. Supplied customers with literature updates. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • AS degree in Finance, Business or related field (Bachelor’s preferred), or 2-4 years of equivalent experience working for a manufacturing company with a fully integrated ERP system (preferably SAP).
  • Strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Highly organized with an ability to work well under tight time constraints.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be strong in Excel (incl. v-lookups, pivot tables).
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects desired.
  • Strong ability to communicate data and materials in easily understandable terms to all functions.
