About The Position

Canteen is hiring immediately for a full-time Utility Route Driver position located at 8220 Enterprise Drive, Wausau, WI 54401. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary, starting between 3:00 am and 5:00 am. More details will be provided during the interview process. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $22.41 per hour, and internal employee referral bonuses are available. All Canteen driving roles may include commission eligibility.

Requirements

• Prior route driving experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, ensuring safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drives company-owned truck over established route to deliver and sell products or render services.
• Collects money from machines and makes change.
• Services a particular route or location during the absence of the regular route or warehouse employee.
• Assists Customer Service Managers with daily opening and closing of the operation, and training of new route service personnel.
• Delivers items such as soft drinks, bakery products, specialty foods, snack items, and sundries to customers.
• Places stock on shelves or racks in vending machines.
• Collects stale, rejected, or unsold merchandise.
• Records transactions on appropriate card and/or electronic device; accountable for cash and product.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service and informs them of new products and/or services.
• Performs routine maintenance on and sanitation of machines.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
