ProSidian Seeks a Utility Relocation Specialist | Public Utility Coordination & Relocation Management [PCBOCC0014013] for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Pasco County Across The South East Region supporting Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services. Seeking Utility Relocation Specialist candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Clients such as PCBOCC. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Public Utility Coordination & Relocation Management Functional Area Professional - Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Conveyance Systems Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as a Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Conveyance Systems (Utility Relocation Specialist) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County Utilities Generally Located In CONUS - Pasco County and across the South East Region (Of Country/World).

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in utility relocation, particularly in DOT or municipal environments.
  • Utility conflict analysis, plan reading, GIS, negotiation, permit coordination.
  • Problem-solving, regulatory understanding, attention to detail, proactive planning.
  • Must be familiar with FDOT and Pasco County standards and capable of managing multi-agency coordination.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certification or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Utility Coordination

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate relocation of utilities in public infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with state/local regulations.
  • Manage stakeholder communication with utility owners, engineers, and permitting agencies.
  • Review design documents for conflicts and propose alternative routes or adjustments.
