About The Position

Shaw Industries is seeking a Finishing Utility Relief to be responsible for relieving on all front end coater jobs during breaks and absences and keeping cores, greige good wraps, and sew-on waste organized.. This position is on 2nd shift, Sunday night through Thursday night, from 3:00pm to 11:00 PM. Responsibilities

Relieve Console Operator, Direct Coater, Froth Machine Operator, Hyster Driver, and Sew-On Operator during breaks or absences.
Keep core buggies, sew-on waste boxes, and greige good wrap containers available.
Use lift truck to move core buggies, waste, and greige good wrap to proper locations.
Use pole lift truck to pull rolls for coater when needed.
Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner.
Miscellaneous duties as required.
