About The Position

Shaw Industries is seeking a Finishing Utility Relief to be responsible for relieving on all front end coater jobs during breaks and absences and keeping cores, greige good wraps, and sew-on waste organized.. This position is on 2nd shift, Sunday night through Thursday night, from 3:00pm to 11:00 PM.   • Must be able to work 8 hour shift

Responsibilities

  • Relieve Console Operator, Direct Coater, Froth Machine Operator, Hyster Driver, and Sew-On Operator during breaks or absences.
  • Keep core buggies, sew-on waste boxes, and greige good wrap containers available.
  • Use lift truck to move core buggies, waste, and greige good wrap to proper locations.
  • Use pole lift truck to pull rolls for coater when needed.
  • Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner.
  • Miscellaneous duties as required.
