The position involves monitoring and operating the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, performing minor repairs on and troubleshooting motors, pumps, valves, and remote telemetry units (RTUs), performing calibration of chlorine and ammonia analyzers, and assisting with dispatching as needed. Duties will require descending into vaults. The role is part of the Irving Water Utilities, which is committed to maintaining and implementing state and federal water quality standards for a growing population of over 200,000. The department aims to provide excellent water quality and achieve high environmental leadership goals.
