About The Position

The Role: Cleans and maintains the property’s public space – casino, lobbies, front drive, pool deck, spa/salon, elevators, focusing on individual and/or specific project covering the property areas- ensuring guest comfort, safety and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • High energy level.
  • Good judgment and common sense.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to communicate basic information to others.
  • Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
  • Ability to effectively analyze and solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
  • Cleans floors (vacuum, mop, shampoo); spot cleaning as necessary.
  • Monitors ash/trash containers, cleaning and removing trash as necessary.
  • Cleans ashtrays.
  • Cleans glass surfaces.
  • Cleans restrooms.
  • Cleans slot bases/machines; pushes in slot chairs.
  • Greets & interacts with guests when appropriate.
  • Uses cleaning chemicals as instructed.
  • Uses safety equipment as required.
  • Communicates all maintenance issues to supervisor.
  • Executes Daily Cleaning Projects.
  • Collects/secures lost-and-found articles.
  • Trains new employees as needed.
  • Makes suggestions for improvements in overall operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenues as well as reducing costs.
  • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with all Hard Rockers to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
  • Resolves guest issues.
  • Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
  • Upholds the Mission Statement – We create authentic experiences that rock.
  • Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.

  • Controls inventory of supplies.
  • Restocks storage closets daily.
