About The Position

Program Manager - Distribution Work Mode: Hybrid . I n this hybrid role, you'll split your time between our King of Prussia, PA office , client on-site meetings, and remote work. About the Role ExecuPOWER is seeking an experienced Program Manager - Distribution to lead large-scale electric utility distribution programs, such as PA LTIIP initiatives , from concept through completion. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining strong collaboration through scheduled onsite engagements. As a Program Manager, you will serve as the primary client-facing representative, ensuring project performance aligns with technical, financial, and safety standards while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical/business discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management within the electric utility industry .
  • Proven success managing large-scale utility programs, such as distribution modernization or LTIIP initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling tools, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel periodically to client or project sites for key meetings and reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program management for Distribution initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee all program phases including planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Monitor program performance through variance reporting and effectively manage scope, schedule, and resource changes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with client leadership to support long-term infrastructure goals and business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver polished presentations and progress reports to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Mobilize, assign, and guide project teams according to strengths and capabilities.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to ExecuPOWER's safety, quality, and technical standards.
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Facilitate weekly project status meetings and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including change orders, variance reports, and financial tracking.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the distribution utility market.
  • Promote innovation through new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance client value and operational efficiency.
