Requirements

  • Prior experience as a prep or utility at a foodservice operation
  • Skilled in operating kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing workstations, cooking ingredients, and kitchen equipment for cooking.
  • Preparing various foods according to chefs' specifications for breakfast and lunch
  • Dish and utility work
  • Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
  • Checking the quality of ingredients and managing food storage.
  • Using various culinary techniques to prepare and cook food.
  • Ensuring appealing food presentation.
  • Coordinating ingredient orders and stock management.
