About The Position
Pike Industries, Inc., a subsidiary of CRH, is seeking candidates for the Utility Position within our Plants and Asphalt division. This role is integral to our operations as a leading highway contractor and the largest producer of Hot Mix Asphalt and Construction Aggregates in New England. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team that has contributed to our continual growth and success since our establishment in 1872. In this position, you can expect to earn a competitive wage starting at $21.00 per hour, with the potential for more based on experience. Additionally, there is a $10.00 per hour shift differential, and opportunities for annual increases. We also offer a robust benefits package that includes paid time off, a $1,000 referral bonus for each new hire you bring to the company, and comprehensive health care coverage where 80% of costs are paid by the company. This includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits, as well as short- and long-term disability coverage. As a Utility Position employee, you will operate equipment such as loaders or skid steers, perform general laboring tasks, and engage in welding and fabricating, although prior experience in these areas is preferred but not mandatory. You will also be responsible for general maintenance and repair duties as needed.
