About The Position

The position involves answering service calls for corrective maintenance on various utility plant equipment. The individual is responsible to the supervisor for maintaining current repair parts inventories and for the procurement of required mechanical equipment and parts. The role requires a solid knowledge of all utility mechanical systems and performing all assigned responsibilities in a safe, thorough, and timely manner. A valid state-issued driver's license is required, and adherence to all Mayo Clinic and departmental policies and procedures is mandatory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Graduation Equivalency Diploma required; trade school preferred.
• Two years' experience in mechanical repair.
• Three years' experience in repair of building equipment and systems.
• Ability to understand, operate, adjust, and maintain various mechanical systems.

Nice To Haves

• EPA technician certification for refrigerant usage and recovery preferred.
