Day Shift Utility Person
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform general plant cleanup, housekeeping, and material handling to support safe and efficient operations. Assist with maintenance tasks, including basic repairs and equipment support. Operate mobile and plant equipment as trained and assigned. Monitor material flow and communicate issues to ensure consistent production. Work collaboratively with team members to support daily production goals.
Requirements
- Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and maintain situational awareness.
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as shoveling, lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn equipment operation and support plant maintenance activities.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and reliability.
- Comfort working in an industrial environment with shifting priorities.
