About The Position

The Painter is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior painting needs of the school district's facilities. This role involves preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate paints, and applying paint to various surfaces within school buildings to ensure a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment conducive to learning. Performs other duties or tasks that may be assigned by the director or administrator.

Requirements

• Black Seal Boiler's License preferred.
• Apprentice knowledge of the basic trades of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electricity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the interior and exterior painting needs of the school district's facilities.
• Prepare surfaces for painting.
• Select appropriate paints for various surfaces.
• Apply paint to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director or administrator.
