About The Position

Hubbell Power Systems is seeking a dedicated individual for a role that involves shipping, receiving, material handling, assembly, labor reporting, material entry (Data Entry), building containers, and packing orders. The position is based at the Connectors Location in Leeds, AL. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, operating and monitoring machines, executing setup of machines for production, and ensuring the quality of produced products. The role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and operating instructions, as well as utilize measuring tools on a daily basis. The candidate will work from routings, instruction sheets, blueprints, or other instructions to manufacture products at required quality levels and perform basic inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet set quality standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, receiving, material handling, assembly, labor reporting, material entry (Data Entry), building containers and packing orders.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Operate and monitor machine(s).
• Execute setup of machines for production.
• Become skilled at various production tasks to fill in as needed.
• Ensure quality of produced product.
• Read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Utilize measuring tools on a daily basis.
• Work from routings, instruction sheets, blueprints, or other instructions to manufacture product at required quality levels.
• Perform basic inspection of assembled product to ensure product meets set quality standards.
