About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Safely operate equipment and vehicles to support yard and material-handling activities like loading, moving, and stockpiling materials efficiently and accurately Support with dispatch coverage and rail loadout when needed Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Assist with inventory control and customer/order support
Requirements
- Ability to operate or learn to operate mobile equipment safely and effectively
- Commitment to following safety practices and contributing to a strong safety culture
- Capability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and productivity
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
- Must be able and willing to fill in at other Southern OH locations as needed.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
