About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Perform general quarry utility tasks, including equipment cleanup and material handling. Assist with the safe operation and maintenance of quarry machinery. Support production activities by monitoring material flow and reporting issues promptly. Follow all safety procedures to maintain a hazard‑free work area. Collaborate with team members to complete daily operational tasks efficiently.
Requirements
- Ability to work safely and follow established procedures in an industrial environment.
- Comfort operating or learning to operate heavy equipment and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to identify and report maintenance needs.
- Reliability, teamwork, and willingness to take initiative.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
