About The Position
Creative Dining Services at Kettering University is seeking a part time Utility staff member. The Utility Part Time position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our business services on campus. This role is vital for ensuring the facility is clean, sanitary, safe and suitable for food preparation and the customer experience. Utility staff help ensure equipment, tables, chairs, floors, trash bins, loading areas and food storage areas are clean, in good working order and are regularly attended to. Opportunity for full time placement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a utility or maintenance role is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensure trash bins are clean and emptied as needed
- Sweep & mop as needed
- Work in dishroom as required
- Assist in cleaning back of house
