About The Position
The position involves providing support to the facility in various roles, primarily within the warehouse or on the grounds as assigned. Responsibilities include pallet sorting, restacking, identifying products that do not meet customer specifications, reworking, and sanitation. The role requires participation as a member of the team, contributing to the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies. Team members are expected to coordinate work to ensure B.E.S.T practices and attend appropriate team meetings. The position also involves fostering strong cohesiveness regarding major issues such as direction, annual plans, budgets, and policy changes. Additionally, the individual must be familiar with Simmons' established operating systems and understand their role in supporting these systems.
