About The Position

We are seeking an individual to join our team in Newport, AR. We currently have an opportunity for the right candidate for the position of Utility. Job Summary: Safely and proficiently operate equipment.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be alert and drug free at all times for safety.
• Ability to work in a steel mill environment with large mobile equipment.
• Ability to work in all types of weather and on uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Safely and proficiently operate equipment.
• Operate equipment in all areas of a busy steel mill.
• Climb in and out of the equipment, which involves several steps and ladders.
• Shift gears manually when required.
• Work a 12 hour per day work shift both daytime and nighttime.
• Perform manual laboring duties such as clean up, shoveling, etc. when equipment is not required.
